PSAT Results Night

Juniors and their Parents/Guardians,

Please join us for the PSAT Results Night on Tuesday, January 17th from 6:30 pm – 7:45 pm in the Cafeteria.  There will be a presentation on understanding the PSAT score report, SAT/ACT testing timelines, and UC/CSU admission requirements.  Also, there will be a 15 minute presentation on the CSU’s EAP.  

PSAT scores were released on the Collegeboard website for students and parents to view. Hardcopies of the PSAT score reports will be available this evening for students and parents to pick up.

If you’re interested in serving as an aide, lab assistant, or peer tutor, please check this list of teachers who are looking for your help.

Contact the teacher directly to confirm their availability, then work with your Guidance Tech to get the paper work done.

Tutoring Program

Baron Academic Foundation (BAF) is offering 24/7, unlimited expert tutoring in over 30 academic subjects, from Algebra, Calculus, Statistics, Chemistry, English, Writing, to Physics, AP classes and much more, through  (a division of Princeton Review).

BAF is able to offer FVHS students who register for through Baron Academic Foundation – 24/7, unlimited number of hours of expert subject tutoring for the school year. The cost for the students through BAF is $65 plus BAF membership. Membership in BAF can be as low as $10. Thus, the total cost would be just $75.

To get an idea of the savings involved, consider that not going through BAF would cost the student $39.99 an hour for the same tutoring services.
