Academic Background
I began learning French in a public middle school in Colorado at the age of 13. In high school, French class was the happiest place in my life. In 2012 I graduated from the University of Northern Colorado with a Bachelors of Arts in French and Secondary Education. During my years at UNC, I studied abroad in Strasbourg, France, and Tours, France. After graduating I began my career teaching French in Colorado Springs, CO. I joined the Baron family as a French teacher in 2013. I have since lead students on multiple trips throughout francophone Europe on summer immersion programs.
Professional Duties
At FVHS I currently teach French 1, French 3, French 4, and French 4 AP. I am also the advisor to French Club.

My favorite artistic movement is post-impressionism, and my favorite museum is the Musée d'Orsay in Paris. I love to shop second-hand markets. My favorite foods include coffee, chocolate, red wine, and all asian cuisine (especially Japanese). I am a pescatarian. I love ballet, hip hop, and bachata. I love the ocean and the smell of trees. Most of all, I love my students, who restore my faith in humanity and give me hope.
